Somnetics Opens Branch at Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, December 8th, 2014: Somnetics expanded its business to Orissa this December. With the expansion of scope in Bhubaneswar and numerous organizations to cater to, the directors came to the decision to establish a permanent branch in the town in the mid of September. The site liked by the organization is located at HIG- 220 Kanan Vihar, Phase 1, Bhubaneswar-751024.

“After a prolonged phase of site hunting, we finally settled for this location, which is situated at the heart of the city, near to various tech parks and huge MNCs in the vicinity”says Sanchari Das, Senior Executive, Integrated Marketing Operation, who is currently deployed at the site to settle the deal. “I have been deployed here for a month to close the deal and find new operators who will work for the Bhubaneswar operation. I have spoken to a few prospective employees and refer them to the HR department very soon” added Sanchari.

Although the new office is located in the ground floor of a residential building, rented out by a retired government employee, its convenient location, attached residential facilities for outstation employees and vicinity to the central commercial area makes it stand out. The floor area is almost 1400 sq.ft, which is enough to suffice the current requirement of the organization. “We like the office space and its convenient location. However, we might upgrade to a bigger one if situation demands with the growth of business.”says Shantanu Som, Director-Technical.

The best part about this building is the boarding facility with attached bath right behind the office space. “I was keen on settling this deal as I felt that employees visiting Bhubaneswar from the Kolkata Head Office need to waste their time and resources on finding accommodation. They can simply use the attached furnished boarding rooms under the same roof. This would curtail cost for accommodation and transportation, while saving the time wasted in traveling to office every day.” says Sanchari.
